Our January's been filled with admin, admin and some more admin... sigh!! We are in the long and challenging process of applying for our visa's to go back to Bangkok as full time missionaries. We've hoped the whole process to be much quicker, but it seems like it may take up to 4 months.
In the mean time we are quite busy serving at our home church (A.F.M Bhs). We are involved with so many different things at the moment, I guess some days we might feel like a "Jack of all trades"... (and a master of none)...haha!! But we are thankful for the different types of exposure we are getting and we're quite certain we will need the experience in the nearby future.
In our preparation for Bangkok, I've started the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course, which will make me (legally) qualified to teach English in Bangkok. We've already used 'teaching English' as a wonderful evangelistic tool while we were in Bangkok last year, and although this course is not mandatory, we feel it will greatly benefit us (and the Thai people) to be able to teach English in a professional manner. Johan is still busy with his Theological studies, and is doing very well, he hopes to finish his degree in the next 2 years.
