Today we went to Lindani Primary School for the practical application of our current subject "Walking with wounded children".  We played a few games with the kids.

And then spent some one on one time with them, talking through their "life story".  We drew a little and then did some "organised play" with our sandboxes. This was very challenging as some of them have been through some very tough and trying times.  Our object was to sincerely listen to them while unconditionally accepting them.

The child I got to spend some time with was a grade 4 learner named Noxolo.  What a blessing to able to just be there and care for this boy.
